DCS was established in association with SENES Consultants Limited, a company that specializes in the fields of energy, nuclear and environmental sciences. SENES has Canadian offices in Toronto and Ottawa, Ontario and Vancouver, British Columbia. In addition, SENES has offices in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Santigo, Chile and in New Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata, India.

Since its inception in 1980, SENES has participated in thousands of projects across Canada, the United States and overseas. Clients include regulatory agencies from all levels of government, private sector companies, industrial associations and public organizations. SENES provides complementary services to DCS as well as providing the access to scientific resources and additional ecological and human health site specific risk assessment (SSRA) capabilities.
